I mentioned that one of my non-cancer projects was to try and get back into writing, something I enjoyed before work and dad duty become all consuming. So, here is some initial product.
Around 2007 I got a tattoo on a drunken night out in Savannah, Georgia. Post cancer diagnosis in 2017 it’s taken on a different significance for me. Vive Ut Vitas is latin and basically translates to ‘live that you may live’, in other words, make the most of life. I penned this during a hospital stay in 2018.
Written in 2017 in the early hours of the morning as I sat in the hospital Emergency Dept with Calla (aged 3) who'd been admitted with a bad case of Croup. This was just a few weeks after my cancer diagnosis
